Time Travel Thursday #116 & Talented Time Travelers #115

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.
Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 116th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories,
grandest dreams, and most creative projects? Great!

Wanna see some of the creativity linked last week by our
talented time travelers first?  Of course you do!   ; )

Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year
It's a time for slowing down the pace of our lives and preparing to
spend more time sheltered indoors.

It's also a time for pulling together pretty vignettes
indicitive of the season—like this beauty by Donna @ Donna's Designs.

And with the change of the season, our
thoughts turn toward all things warm and snuggly—like this
lovely blanket by Jeanette @ This Dusty House.

It's sure to keep one cute little pumpkin as
snug as a bug in a rug.

Time Travel Thursday #115 & Talented Time Travelers #114

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.

Welcome to the 115th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories,
grandest dreams, and most creative projects? Great!

Gotta check out some of our tremendously
talented time travelers from last week first.

From the moment I spied my first charming
coffee filter wreath out in blogland, I was totally hooked.

And this gorgeous fall rendition by Lisa @ RECAPTURED Charm
has me wanting to run right out and purchase some unbleached filters
to create my very own autumn beauty.

Part of the joy of decorating with old salvage materials
is coming up with some fun, funky way to reuse it.

The unique personal touches that Amber @ WhatAmberLoves added to the panes
of her vintage door not only gave it more pizazz, but her ways with
display brought the old piece to new heights.   ; )

When looking for a fresh, new way to display her jewelry,
Megan, the daughter of Sharon @ Elizabeth & Co., decided to
pull from one of the pins to her Pinterest boards.

To find these cool, industrial spools, she
had to look no further than her mom's stash of goods.

I grew up with quilts, so I'm quite nostalgic
about them.  I have fond memories of snuggling beneath them
on cold winter nights at my grandparents' farm.

This lovely hourglass version by Q @ JAQS studio looks like it came right
out of my grandmother's linen closet.

As the days grow shorter and the nights get cooler, our thoughts turn
toward ways to create warmth inside
our homes—physically and decoratively.

This inspiring idea by Amanda @ Bullfrogs and Bulldogs for using
cozy, neutral-colored yarn to wrap Styrofoam balls
is one I might just have to emulate.

What wonderfully creative ideas do you have to share this week?

Time Travel Thursday #114 & Talented Time Travelers #113

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.
Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 114th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories,
grandest dreams, and most creative projects? Great!

Well, let's revisit a few of our
talented time travelers from last week's party first.

Teresa @ MAGAZINE YOUR HOME has been attempting to
create a cottage farmhouse look throughout her abode.

When she found this fun funky-junk light fixture
at her favorite flea market, she knew it was the
perfect score for her theme.

As you're changing out your summer attire for
fall frippery, you may discover a few sweaters that
no longer make the grade.

Don't toss them out!

Visit Sarah @ ALDERBERRY HILL and discover how to
turn your castoff into a cute autumn adornment.

Even without its sentimental attachments,
this beautiful desk would have been a perfect candidate for a makeover.  Not only
does it have great bones, but take a look at that gorgeous hardware!

Angela @ Number Fifty-Three knew just how to bring out its hidden
beauty—with a little bit of elbow grease and a lot of love.

As the wave of warm summer breezes gives way to
cool, crisp mornings, sightings of warm-weather
creatures become all the more scarce.

That made this colorful, winged beauty a very welcomed
visitor to the garden of Debra @ HOMESPUN.

Now it's your turn to show us how those
creative juices have been flowing for you this past week.   ; )

Time Travel Thursday #113 & Talented Time Travelers #112

"We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they're called memories.
Some take us forward, they're called dreams."
~Jeremy Irons~

Welcome to the 113th Time Travel Thursday linky party at The Brambleberry Cottage!

Are you ready to share your fondest memories,
grandest dreams, and most creative projects? Great!

First, we'll take a peek at some of the wonderful things shared
by our talented time travelers last week.

If ever there were an
ugly-duckling transformation
to quack about, this would be it.

Obviously, the basic bones of the piece
were a huge plus from the start.  But the paint and fabric—skillfully chosen and
applied by Gina @ Random Thoughts—are what really caused
this gorgeous swan to emerge so gracefully.

I think this is just the coolest idea for
 chalkboards on a fridge!

Brenda @ cottage4c had the brilliant idea to construct hers as
separate units and attach them with super strong magnets.

If you appreciate farmhouse charm as much as I do,
you'll want to be sure to pay Angie @ Knick of Time a visit.

Her newly remodel kitchen is delightful!

I love finding alternatives to the unhealthy, chemical-ladden
desserts and drinks being thrust at us from every direction.

This yummy shake shared by Good Girl Gone Green
is sure to tickle your taste buds.

OK, share your talent with us again this week!
